See that blender in the back of the cupboard…TIME TO TAKE IT OUT!
I know, it’s not really that time of the year where you can lay down on the beach and enjoy a smoothie with a straw and some ice…
However, I’ve gather 3 recipes containing great ingredients for detoxing your body, de-stressing yourself or beautifying your skin (is this even a word ?).
What is good with smoothie is that you can have SO many variation that it can be pretty fun to play around ingredients. However I usually don’t go too crazy as I like my recipes to be simple and quick!
The Cleanse Me Smoothie
This smoothie will be beneficial for you if you want to purge yourself. This might be after a big week end of eating or too much party. It will help you restarting your week fresh.
I usually do one when I feel bloated or when I start to feel like I’m getting sick.
Ingredients:
- 1 Kiwifruit
- 1/2 Green Apple
- 1 Squirt of Lemon
- Half a Cucumber
- 5-8 leafs of Mint
- 1/2 Handful of Fresh Spinach
- 1 cup of Water
- Option: a bit of Ginger
Instruction: Well, just blend everything together ! 🙂
The Chill Out Smoothie
For optimal result of Zen attitude, get some Chamomille Tisane ( caffeine free tea) infused it in warm water and then but it in the fridge.
Ingredients
- 1 + 1/2 Almond Milk
- 15g of Whey Protein – Vanilla
- Pure vanilla extract 1 tbsp
- 1/2 Cup of Blueberries ( try to taste then at the supermarket , make sure they have flavour)
- 1 big tbsp of instant oats
- I like to add few raspberriesssss too
- Add the Fresh Chamomille Tisane
Instruction: Blend everything together… easy peasy.
The Wow That Glow Smoothie
This is literally my favorite one! It’s SO fresh! And the carrots helps my skin getting a nice tone. between us it’s perfect because right now I look like a Babybell.
Ingredients
- 2 Carrots
- 1 Orange peeled and halved
- ½ lemon, peeled
- 1 Apple
- ½ cucumber, peeled
- a thumb-size piece of ginger
- water ( to your preference)
- If you think it’s too sour add some sweeteners
