Visit Manchester – The Makers Market

If you are new to the area, living here or just visiting for the weekend. I’ve got a few things you might be interested in. But this first article VISIT MANCHESTER PART 1 will focus on the Makers Market. My ultimate fav!

The Makers Market, not just your usual market

The M Market is a group a independent traders and artisans which get together every weekend at a different location. There, you can find loads of different things from fun gifts, nice candles, art, vegan food, cakes, music delicious lunch food and SO much more.

I don’t buy a lot of things when I go but I always end up with a treat, which usually doesn’t fit in my diet…. OH WELL.
I just love to walk around talk to the vendors, try some new things etc. I just think this is a perfect thing to do on the weekend.

Keep in mind that often, buying there is cheaper than buying their products online. #Justsayin.

The vendors are passionate

What I really like is that the people really care about what they sell. They can talk to you for a while explaining their products and why they decided to do this or that.
For once I decided to buy myself something, so I got a little Rose Quartz bracelet… Hopefully this brings good vibes. the woman was that kind she gave me a little extra stone.

Go for the treats

You will encounter some pretty impressive cakes… AND I can tell you about how delicious they are because I’ve probably tried something from every stand. Not even joking.😁

There are lots of gluten free options and also some real caloric bombs, that I would gladly host inside my belly! Check out my article on why eating what you love isn’t going to ruin your diet.

This is from Weenibakes, every time I go to the market I get something there! Literally, I can’t resist everything just look so good. My ultimate favorite so far, the red velvet brownie cheesecake and the blueberry cheesecake. OMG.

Go just for lunch or brunch

If you are more like a savory type of person, then you will adore this market. You can find chinese food, indian food, pies, english special stuff. Last weekend I had some amazing dumpling from Oh Mei Dumpling and a massive American Hot Dog. Can’t really say I was still hungry after this.
